Fermented Oats...
I took a bite of this exact flavor (peanut butter) and it tasted very acidic. I finished that bite and went for a second thinking maybe that’s how it’s suppose to taste. The second bite was somehow worse than the first and I had to spit it out. It felt like a burning sensation on my tongue, the expiration date says November 12, 2025 so it should have been good (I ate this in October 26). The lid also had a bunch of air in it but I really didn’t think anything of it considering I have tried other flavors and they tasted perfectly fine.

wanted to love and maybe i can get my hands on one that hasn’t gone bad but the plastic was inflated and when i opened it it smelled so sour. after reading reviews i see it has expired despite being before the best by date and has happened to others as well.

(Disclaimer: I was given the wrong flavor at the fault of a Target employee, which will not affect the review. This is an honest review of the MUSH Peanut Butter & Jelly Gluten-Free Overnight Oats - 5.5oz.) The packaging made it very difficult to open the product, but I used a butter knife to cut it open after a few unsuccessful attempts. The packaging looked more appetizing than the product itself, but once I tried the product, it was what you'd expect a PB&J to taste like, but in a thick, chunky, and liquidy form. I think they could've made it better. But I don't think this product is for me.

I actually really enjoyed it, it was not overwhelming. The texture was not an issue, like a pudding with oats. Aren’t oats mushy anyway? Excited to try the chocolate flavor, I LOVE chocolate!

I've tried ordering this flavor several times and every time it comes with the lid bulging, the oats inside fermented and sour. I've never had any problems with the dark chocolate flavor (which is my favorite), but the peanut butter protein flavor is always bad well before the expiration date.

I usually really enjoy other MUSH flavors so I thought the peanut butter would be good, but it’s nasty. I took one bite and had to spit it out. It also truly looks disgusting. Try the chocolate or vanilla bean instead. This one is horrid.
