Space Kids' Comforter Set - Pillowfort™

My daughter is going to love it! I rather buy from Target than anywhere else, you know it’s going to be great quality:)

Gave me and others weeks of contact dermatitis. We could not figure out what the issue was. Just having it out of its package and *in storage* in an open box in the same room as a bed with completely different bedding led to it off-gassing whatever chemicals it was made with and making that bed's surfaces a source of contact dermatitis, as well as made the room's air itchy to breathe. "Scratchy" texture is not just rough fabric, it's an actual chemical irritant, especially before the product is washed at home. Washing does help somewhat, but I have another similar product, "Twin Garden Floral Kids' Comforter Set," that also gives similar symptoms—albeit less so—even after washing. Would not recommend... They need to actually wash this product before they ship it out to consumers—absolutely wash it the moment you get it, but the problems may persist (albeit reduced) after you wash

Terrible qualit. Color runs on skin and is scratchy. Would not purchase the brand again.

I was hoping this set would get better with time but it's only getting worse. I first noticed that it is rough feeling, even after washing, and the poly fill is constantly escaping the comforter and covering itself with it. There are no holes so I'm not sure how it's happening. I have two of these and they are both doing the same thing. No matter how much I wash and dry them, the filling is just making more and more of a mess. I really don't see this set lasting very long if I don't just toss it first. It's such a bummer because my kids really love it. It also doesn't glow in the dark like you would think. One half planet will glow and that's it. What happened, Pillowfort? You used to be much better quality.

I agree with some other comments, this comforter and pillow case are rough. I washed them 3 times and no luck. Wanted a cheaper option but will stick to pottery barn kids, like always.

I might return it. I washed it hoping it would get softer and it’s so scratchy. Heavy. I don’t know how other people are saying this is soft because it’s not at all.

The comforter is two pieces . A pillow case and the separate comforter. It comes in a space themed print with a cotton material and backing. I like the colors and the glow in the dark features. It’s fairly lightweight so more for fall. Easy to wash and dry.

Love it. Better quality than I expected

Horrible quality, washed as soon as we brought home according to directions on tag, and comforter was clumped and wrecked. No amount of drying with tennis balls could save it. Scratchy and clumped up, total waste of money.

Omg so so cute! It’s super soft without being suffocating and too hot at night. My son loves that the stars glow at night, I just wish all the planets glowed also but it still is really really cool! He loves it and so do I, I find myself sneaking a quick nap in his bed because of this comforter!

Fabric does not wash well. First time through laundry comforter is stiff and fading. The filling separated causing lumps. We used warm water, gentle detergent and cycle with tumble dry.

Adorable space themed, 2 piece comforter set. The kid loves it, especially the glow in the dark feature. Its not a very bright glow. The comforter is true to size, has a good weight and soft texture and reversible.

Bought this for my son who is obsessed with outer space. He was ecstatic. He said he loves how it glows in the dark and how thick and comfy it is. It’s a bit heavyweight for the Florida heat though. So, we use it for looks more than to sleep. And save it for the cooler months.

This is such a pretty design. My son loves it. The comforter is very soft, the pillow sham is a little bit stiff/scratchy (why I didn’t give this set 5 stars). I did think there were sheets included, there are not. I should have read the description better.

It’s really scratchy not soft at all

I have an almost-ten-year-old who loves glow-in-the-dark stuff, so I was hoping he would like this comforter set. The planets do glow! Not well enough to get a photograph of them, unfortunately, but they do glow. And it isn't all the stars, either, this is not going to light up the bedroom and keep him awake. It's wide enough to hang off the sides of the bed, which would be more suited for a regular twin bed than his bunk beds, but it still fits! And it's warm. The sham is nice, too, I appreciate pillowcases that don't slide off easily.

A thinner blanket with a scratchy material. I like the colors and the glow in the dark feature was pretty neat. My son got cold while using this blanket and felt he needed to layer to stay warm. Is lightweight and easy to carry. Would make a great picnic blanket.

This is a very nice comforter set that features a cool space design. The size, weight and fill of the comforter are great. The pillowcase isn't the softest, but it's soft enough and matches the comforter in its design.
