Strange Cairo f on table top feels fake

The top of the table feels strange. The ""coating"" on the surface of the table feels weird and fake. That detail should be in the description. A wood finish on top would be much better. I would return it if it weren't such an ordeal to take it apart and ship back.

Horrible quality. The wood is cheap and hollow, and the finish is a high sheen finish. It looks cheap. Despite following instructions to the word, the table has a massive gap in between the two wood halves of the circle. It also chipped 4 days after we set it up, I can't return because we set it up over 30 days after delivery, but I'm really regretting it because we are stuck with this horrible table.

Poor Manufacturing Process

Purchased this item in black for use as a game table. When the table arrived and I tried to assemble it, there was a 1/4"" gap where the halves of the tabletop come together. The company replaced the table, but the new one is almost as bad (see images). The tabletop and joint faces are not perpendicular to one another, no wonder there is a gap. The mating faces should have been cut perpendicular to the tabletop, or the top should be made in one piece to avoid the gap. I contacted the company a second time and have yet to hear back.

Very impressed with the quality of the table and chairs. It was super simple and easy to put together and love that it came with floor protectors for the legs of the chairs and table. Beautiful table at such an amazing price. Definitely recommend!

Pretty, bumpy, lightweight.

Well, it looks pretty. This was going to be our homework / art table, but the bumpy tabletop grooves and noticeable line down the middle deter that kind of function. I also thought it would've been better quality wood. I should've done more research. (Also I've tried uploading photos on multiple browsers and they crash the review every time. )

Over priced junk

The table top isn’t sealed so any moist leaves a ring. The table top is two parts which is separated by 1/8 of an inch allowing food crumbs to accumulate. After owning for 6 months, a crack has formed along the edge. It seems like it’s separated due to dry winter air. Called the manufacturer about the issues and got the typical run around. After months of bugging them they only offer to send me a repair kit, which really only made the rings look worse.

Dissatisfied

The color swatch listed on your website (wire brushed seashell) is not the same color as the table I received . It was much more yellow than pictured . I sent pictures of both to you and you would only take back the table if I paid a 20% restocking fee and pay for the return shipping. I will never shop at Plank and Beam again!!!

Perfect table

This is my first piece of furniture outside of Wayfair. This table exceeded all of my expectations! All of the pieces aligned, the pieces itself were sturdy, and the overall build of the table was smooth. Took me about 1. 5 hours to build, and only needed one person to put together. This table is great if you're looking for a small 4 seater that's comfortable. This table is very sturdy and is going to last me a long time. Highly recommend!

The first one I

The first one I ordered did not assemble correctly. There were alignment issues with predrilled holes. Customer service was EXCELLENT and I was shipped new table at no cost. The new one assembles as it should but the table top was slightly damaged. Its small and it seems like a hastle to try to get it fixed again so I decided to place that edge away from sight lines in my house. For an inexpensive table. It looks nice and feels sturdy.

The two half round

The two half round pieces that come together do not connect all the way and it is clear there is a deformity when you look at it from the side. The two pieces of the table are now slowly separating and the gap in the middle of the table is much larger than it was

Looks nice from afar, but not great quality

Looks good from afar, but up close it looks cheap. The table top comes in 2 pieces and there is a gap that isn't tight enough together. Food getting in this crack is going to be a big problem, especially with kids. There is a support piece under the gap so food can't fall to the floor, it will just stay there and not sure how we will get it out. The two halves also don't line up well and the outter edge doesn't line up. The veneer is rough in spots and prone to chipping. We stored it while we moved and missed the return window so it will have to do for a couple of years. It isn't real wood and was inexpensive so you get what you pay for.

Pecan Round Table

The table was exactly what I was looking for! We weren't able to get the two top pieces connected fully so there is a small gap. We decided it wasn't that big of a deal. For the price it is great!

I do not love it

My husband put it together before I woke up and he had mangled the boxes. Otherwise, I would have returned it. It feels like plastic, not wood. It was difficult to tell in the listing photos, but the top is covered with grooves, so it is not a smooth surface. You do not want it in the kitchen if you plan to do any writing or homework. It is sturdy enough and the price is nice, but I would not keep it if I were not stuck with it.
