An oil based, first cleanse formulated with cica oil, linoleic acid, linolenic acid, rice bran oil and gentle surfactants that dissolve makeup, excess sebum, sunscreen and other impurities without clogging pores or stripping the skin. This formula rinses clean and is suitable for all skin types, even those with acneic skin.
To Use: Dispense into dry hands and massage onto dry skin and eyes to dissolve makeup and impurities. Add water to emulsify and rinse thoroughly. Follow with second cleanse.

Love this cleansing oil, and was SO thrilled when Target finally started selling it. On my second bottle and I pair it with another Prequel face wash sold at Target for double cleansing

I use normal mascara (not waterproof) and normal eye shadow, and this cleanser does a terrible job at removing them. I have to rub a LOT on my eyes to get it to remove any of the eye makeup, and that rubbing certainly isn't good for the skin. In addition, because I have to rub, the oil get in my eyes, leaving them burning and blurry. After emulsifying and rinsing, there's still a lot of makeup smeared around my eyes, so I then have to use another makeup remover to get that off. All in all, a disappointing experience. I'm returning this product.

I used this in my routine as a pre cleanse before using the Gleanser, and sadly, this broke me out worse than I have ever broken out before. The break outs stopped right when I stopped using this product. I have dry, sensitive skin, but this product made me have a whole bunch of acne when I've never had it before. I'm glad it works for some people, but definitely not for me!

I wanted to love this - while its not bad is doesn't seem to have the slip that my favorite oil cleanser does. Not sure I would buy it again just because it doesn't beat my favorite. However, it does a great job removing my sunscreen and makeup and is very gentle on my sensitive skin. As always great value for $$ - which is the case for all Prequel products.

I am no stranger to oil cleansers and this is one of my favorites. Super gentle even when my skin is irritated, no breakouts, rinses clean, doesn't make my eyes blurry, takes off all face makeup, sunscreen, waterproof mascara (the key is to rub it in to lashes and let it sit for about 20 seconds, then rinse). I finished an entire bottle and plan to repurchase.

I sadly have nothing good to say about this cleanser. I was influenced to buy this product from the 100s of good reviews I saw on TikTok. I was so excited to try the product, and well as the “Gleanser” but was very, very disappointed. After one use my skin started to feel very dry and very itchy. I gaslit myself into thinking to was something else in my routine but sadly it was not. After about a month of continued use (thinking maybe the symptoms would resolve) I switched back to my old oil cleanser and my skin felt so much better. This product made me itch, gave a dry red bumps around my nose, and didn’t really even do a good job removing my makeup. 10/10 don’t recommend.
Did not remove eye makeup. Not worth the cost.

While I love this brands Gleanswr, I was disappointed with the oil cleanser. Despite a gentle yet thorough first cleanse, this did not remove a good portion of my makeup esp my mascara. For the price pointe this should do better. Also, the product runs out a lot from the pump, so you waste some product. No irritation to my skin when used, but look elsewhere for a better 1st cleanse.

I like this oil cleanser, though when you get it wet to emulsify, it doesn’t emulsify. It just looks like milk and is all runny. My BIGGEST complaint is the pump. There is absolutely no easy way to open and close the pump for travel. You end up wasting product because oil constantly squirts out to try to get it to close. I’ll probably buy an easier pump bottle and transfer the product to it.
