Keep frozen until ready to prepare.
Microwave
1. Remove appetizers from packaging. Place 2 buns on microwave-safe plate. Cover with damp paper towel.
2. Microwave on HIGH for 1 to 1 1/2 minutes or until hot throughout. Allow to cool slightly as buns will contain hot steam.

If slightly increasing the size of each bun and reducing the number per package from 6 to 4 weren’t enough, the flavor was clearly changed and tastes nothing like it used to. So disappointing as I used to stock these as an emergency snack.

It’s not the bbq bao buns you think they are going to be. They aren’t horrible but they do have a paste that is almost like refried beans inside. I don’t think I’ll get them again.

These are expensive but delicious. Good for when you need a decent snack. The buns are the perfect texture and thickness. The filling a sweet and yummy goodness. Small, but filling. To cook, I bake for a few minutes in an oven or toaster oven, then take out and cover with a damp paper towel and microwave for a short bit 20-60 seconds tops. They turn out wonderfully. Yes, a sauce packet of some kind would be nice, but most people have their own condiments on hand. I would like to see these priced at $3.99.

So gross! The baking direction were inadequate! They turned out like raw dough, had hardly any filling on the inside, mostly dough. The taste was like a can of alpo dog food with a hint of BBQ sauce. I will never buy prepared food fresh or frozen at Target ever again. HEB will get all my business from now on!
