No flavor either so I did add salt and pepper not much though and it didn’t make it any better. I chucked it into the trash. Definitely will not be adding this to my store list.

The packaging is what you’d expect for frozen food. It does come in a paper container to be a bit more sustainable. I would try another meal from Amy’s since this was so good. A little high priced for frozen meals but after trying I see why they’re so popular. Also feels like it’s on the healthier side as far as frozen meals go.

The package was easy to open with a nice picture and easy to read ingredients. I liked that this is a nutritional frozen dish but it is high in sodium.

There are 3 ways to cook it,but I chose the microwave and it really only took less than 5 mins. It was so fresh tasting and didn't need any salt or pepper. I really enjoyed it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product in a big box with bags of dry ice to preserve it, yet the package itself was soggy from it so I’m not sure if that affected the quality of the meal. The ingredient list looked very promising, and it was easy to prepare in the microwave. However, I did not like the taste of it. Something about the flavor felt off and almost tasted like plastic. It could be that the way to prepare it says to keep the film on, so maybe that contributed to the plastic taste, or the meal got spoiled on the way to me. Or it’s possible that it’s an acquired taste since it has jasmine rice and I’m not used to to the flavor. Either way, I personally didn’t like, but someone else might.

I appreciated the savory dish that was mild on the spice level yet very flavorful with the tofu. The potatoes were slightly mushy but that could be that I needed to microwave for an additional 1 minute to thaw a frozen block within the dish. My husband and I enjoyed it a lot and we both laughed at the thought of a marketing budget that would pay for people to get a dry iced packed frozen meal through the mail! I would highly recommend for a complex carbohydrate and vegetarian meal.
