Quality very poor

I've been a Target fan for 8 years, and this is the first time I'm so dissatisfied with the quality of a product! The material is so poor that the wood split apart as soon as the screws were put in, and then it became unusable! I can't even ask UPS to return it! To be honest, it's too much trouble to lose it! This purchase was terrible.

Not What I Expected

This desk is huge.. and a little clunkier than it appeared on the photos. It will take over a room if you don't have a lot of space. That aside, it's very nice once set up, but the set up itself is kind of he** on earth. The instructions are clear enough, but the dowels will cause damage if you don't have them set deep enough. The cam bolts won't set flush if the dowels aren't set and it's a mess. It took me 3 hours to get it all set and put together, and it's a little beat up, but I can hide it under a mousepad. If your monitor has a stand, it will not fit. My monitor is only 24" and it's too tall to fit, so it sits ahead of the top "shelf", which isn't a deal breaker, but is worth mentioning. All of that aside, it's sturdy, and will most likely last a while, though I can't speak on how well it would travel or be moved as it's too heavy to lift on my own.
