The top is actually 13. 75 x 11 so it was too small for my laptop.

Useful for so many things in the studio

This is a well built, lightweight and versatile stand that serves many uses. Can be used for a laptop, controllers for DAW's and so many other things. I have several of them and they always do the job.

Not level

One bracket is taller than the other, so the platform is not level. Emailed the product support, no response. I ordered this in the past, didn't have the same issue. Unlucky for me I guess.

Very lightweight yet sturdy and stable

Absolutely perfect. I have bought 4 different stands from different companies trying to find the perfect stand for my needs. Small yet sturdy, stable not wobbly. Easy to carry and portable. I use my stands for laptops and also musical gear like sequencers and drum machines. This specific stand is best of the bunch and also more than HALF the cost!!! I am ordering 2 more today. Not sure why had less than 5 stars must be bots from competitors this stand is easily a 5 star stand and the price is under $20. No brainer!

STAND LOCK ISSUE

Very disappointed! The stand doesn't have a locking mechanism or any way to fix the height once you set it, it just stays in place by friction.
