Hydro Flask Kids' Insulated Hard Sided Lunch Box

I got this lunch box for my daughter's school lunches. We are 3 weeks into school and she brings her lunch daily to school, and today, when she went to pull out her lunch box from her backpack the handle broke! We can't figure out how in the world it broke!! Then my husband was trying to put it back together then the other side of the handle broke! Otherwise it is a great lunchbox.

This lunchbox is huge and barely fits in my son’s backpack and yet the inside is not big enough for his Thermos food container or to pack his lunch entire in half the time and we end up digging an old lunchbox or bag out of the cupboard. I basically have to go find a new lunchbox for him. Part of the problem is that it has pretty hard sides and so there is no give for wider items to fit in, unlike a soft side lunchbox that you can easily squeeze things into. It is way overpriced but my son loved the color and the lunchbox section had been cleaned out so we got it even though $40 seemed outrageous for a lunchbox. The quality seems good and it has held up so far but that does me no good if I can even fit his lunch in it or fit it in his backpack most days.

Do not buy!!!!!! Handle fell off

My daughter bought this ridiculously priced lunchbox herself because she loved it. It made it 3 weeks into the school year and the handle broke.

Did not last even a week! The handle broke off tried to fix multiple times but did not last. Very disappointed.

This lunchbox is great. It keeps things cool even without a frozen cube. I can’t wait to try it with one so see how much longer other items are cool

I was happy with this lunchbox as one of the only options on the market that can fit a planet box lunch box, but the way it’s designed when an ice pack is placed into the mesh portion of the lunch box the condensation causes mold development. This began almost immediately after we started using it, which is so annoying for a lunchbox at this price point. We didn’t even get four months out of it.

Too shallow to put a Bento box and ice pack inside without it being difficult to close. Such a weird design for a kids lunchbox, honestly. I guess it’d work well if you use a bunch of bags with food inside versus a box.

Handle fell off in 2 weeks of normal lunchbox use

Do not buy. This lasted 2.5 weeks before the handle completely broke off. So disappointing.

Purchased approximately six months ago for my toddler. The product has been gently used—mainly for carrying snacks to school. Yesterday, the handle detached unexpectedly. It appears to be a structural failure, and there is no way to reattach or repair it without causing further damage to the lunch box.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s sold as a lunchbox sized for kids, but honestly, it’s big enough to fit a decent amount of food for an adult sized meal and it’s just small and sleek enough to fit into a college, work, or hiking backpack! I’m absolutely in love with the color and I the feeling of the smooth inside as well as the fabric outside! The handles are also well made and won’t be easily broken!

Grandson is doing meal prep and this works great for the microwave dishes he bought.

I was excited to try this lunch box because my son has been needing a bigger lunch box, but I was disappointed at how shallow it was, I could not even fit a Bentgo + ice packs + water bottle.. will be returning
