Q: How do you clean it for gods sake I turned it to the side and got water all over me!
A: Hi Ari, Oh no, I am so sorry that happened. I am going to include our instructional video in this reply, but I am going to go over a few things regarding the cleaning of our snack spinners and lunchboxes. First they do need to be taken apart. They can be hand washed but they are dishwasher safe on the top rack. The video will show you how to disassemble the spinner. Q: Is there a cooler lunch box that works with this/fits this design to have ice packs in it to keep cold
A: Hi Ashley, GoBe is designing a lunch bag that will fit it perfectly. The lunch bag will have an insert for a cold pack. Stay tuned on our website gobekids.co for updates on the lunch bag. Due to its larger size, the lunchbox requires some searching for a bag that fits. If you would like to check if it fits in your lunch bag, the dimensions are 8.5” (H) x 11” (W) which is the same as a full-size sheet of printer paper. There is a Bentgo kids lunch bag that is sold on Amazon that our lunchboxes do fit into. Please let me know if there is anything else that I can answer for you. Q: I thought this came with stickers but did not receive any. Does this style come with the customized stickers?
A: Hi, The alphabet stickers are not included with our products that are sold at Target, Walmart and Sam's Club. They are only included with our products that are purchased through Amazon and our website gobekids.co. Q: Does this container usually come with the customizable name stickers? This is my 3rd time buying this, but first time buying at Target since it’s on sale.
A: Hi, The alphabet stickers and wrist straps do not come with our products that are sold at Target, Walmart or Sam's Club and this is because they are sold at a much lower price. They are only included with our products purchased through Amazon and our website gobekids.co. Q: Is the 5 compartment snack rotator removable when you don’t wanna bring the sanwhich holder?
A: Hi, Yes it is. It can be removed and should be after each use so that you can clean your lunchbox whether by hand or in the top rack of the dishwasher. Q: Why does the lock on the snack spinner not lock too tightly? I know it meant to be easy to open for kids, but this seems like just a little nudge would open right away.
A: Hi, We are so sorry that you are having issues with the closure on your small snack spinner. It doesn't lock, but it should snap shut and not open that easily. I am wondering if maybe you might need a new lid. We do have a one year warranty on all of our products. Would you be able to send a video to our customer service email, which is hello@gobekids.co. Q: Is the snack spinner air tight? From what I noticed in the spinner alone it wasn't airtight and snacks went stale.
A: Hi Bee, Yes, the snack spinner is airtight, but the lid needs to be on correctly. They are not meant to store foods overnight in or out of the fridge. Your snacks in the Snack Spinner will stay separated and will not spill from one compartment to another as long as they are a solid consistency! Q: is the sandwich container part leakproof? What about the snack container? Can I put yogurt there in the snack part?
A: Hi, The sandwich container is leakproof for dry ingredients. Your snacks in the Snack Spinner will stay separated and will not spill from one compartment to another as long as they are a solid consistency! Liquid or loose items may shift if the Snack Spinner is not stored flat. We recommend you pack dry or moist solid foods in the Snack Spinner or sandwich side of the lunchbox, but stay away from snacks with a more liquid consistency like apple sauce. Some examples of snacks that work well in the Snack Spinner are: cheerios, gold fish, strawberries, grapes, pineapple, blueberries, oranges, mango, animal crackers, cheese and pretzel sticks! Q: Can the sandwich part go in the microwave?
A: Hi, GoBe Kids products are not meant to be used in a microwave and we do not recommend it. Also the spinners do have a small stainless steel piece in the spinner mechanism.
