Stonewall Kitchen Bourbon Bacon Jam , 12.5 oz (354 g)

My wife bought this and the matching BBQ sauce from stonewall kitchen. I had to throw out whatever food they touched. It was TERRRIBLE, like, inedible, in fact it was so bad that I had to get my wife to try it to verify how bad it was, we both agreed that this was the worst tasting thing we had tried in a long time. It tastes like some bad chemical.

Had the absolute pleasure of tasting the Bourbon Bacon Jam on a burger served at a Savannah restaurant. The flavors melded together made it a gastronomic experience! I was obsessed with finding this jam that I searched everywhere in Asheville, our next road trip stop, to find it to bring it home. But no luck. It became our “thing” in each area visited to ask restaurants and little boutiques if they had ever heard of it. it. Finally, while visiting a place in Black Mountain, we met a lady who said she thought she had seen it a local grocery store. Said it was made by Stonewall Kitchen. I have a manufacturer’s name now. So excited!! Sadly, the grocery store did not sell that flavor. But now armed with a manufacturer name and Google search, we FOUND it! I now have several jars at home to use on grill cheese sandwiches, on top of warm Brie, and, of course, hamburgers. The combination possibilities are endless. The jam enhances the flavor of the entree. It was a great trip visiting the Carolina’s and Georgia with a little treasure hunt mixed in. Yes, I’m obsessed with the Bourbon Bacon Jam and will continue to incorporate it into my recipes! Be creative in your cooking. It pairs well with cheese and meats. Perfect for a charcuterie board!

The Bourbon Bacon Jam is amazing. we love the flavor. Its great with goat cheese on crackers.

Oh man this stuff is AHmazing. Cook it up with some good Colvard sausages, you will be so happy. Yum.

this stuff tastes like gasoline. I bought one for myself and another as a gift. they weren't cheap but they're both going in the trash as I won't pay to ship them back. how one could make bourbon and or bacon taste this bad is a real feat.

Bought this 3 years ago and still think about it. Don't live in the US anymore. Reading the other reviews made me laugh. There's so many types of ways to make preserves you can never please everyone. I would use this product as the everyday bacon jam, light, sweet and smokey but not overpowering or too rich, spreads perfectly for a sandwich or what my favourite thing ended up being was egg burrito with a dollop of bacon jam. Its a breakfast I still think back and crave.

Undeniably the best bourbon, bacon jam on the market out there!

I love the Stonewall pepper jams and have wanted to try bacon jam so I decided to treat myself. I have never been so disappointed in a jam. One this is an apple jam, I cannot eat cooked fruit and two I did not taste bacon at all.

Was looking for a bacon jam and thought I would try this on a burger. It was horrible tasting.

Bought this at a kitchen store in Siren, Wi. Yhe store was giving taste test of several products. My husband immediately thought this was best jam he had ever tasted. Will be in our fridge from now on!

I had high hopes for this, and was disappointed. Spat it back out.
