Kichler Lighting Ahrendale 1 - Light Ceiling Fan in Anvil Iron

My husband is a DIY, and he was amazed on how the instructions was easy to follow. The LED lighting looks nice and bright, clear light. The remote control was a total game changer. It is sleek, and looks high tech while it simplifies the function of the fixture. Love it! I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This fan can easily be used for both indoor and outdoor use. It is a 60 in fan, with bouts of steel and wood. There is adjustable speed settings that gain airflow to your needs. The light itself can be dimmed with the right bulb. It is safe for wet conditions. It absolutely looks stunning. A modern rustic farmhouse design. Very well made

Instructions are well laid out for ease of installation and packaging was perfect and sleek. Light was bright and fan will be big enough to really feel the wind! Would definitely recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Ahrendale™ LED 60" fan totally makes a statement. It is absolutely gorgeous. This fan is an upgrade change in our den. As soon as I saw it I fell in love with it. The rustic design for the light fixture, the details mix of the metal “caging look” with the wood is perfect. The wood color on the fan reminds me of beach driftwood, which goes so nicely with the metal color.. it only requires 1 bulb but puts out enough light. The wall controller has 3 speeds, simple to use. Love it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a really nice, industrial looking, fixture that would be suitable with multiple types of decor. The LED light kit provides bright, clear light and the fan moves a surprising amount of air. The custom wall switch was a total game changer. It is sleek, and looks high tech while it simplifies the function of the fixture. My installer suggested a few changes to the installation instructions. He said page 5 of the instructions say you need an 11mm wrench but he never found a use for it. On page 7 the instructions tell you to remove the hanger ball but fails to mention it unscrews. And finally, (from page 11 of the instructions) he recommended, due to the tight spacing (unless a longer down rod is used) you should remove one of the two shoulder screws in the mounting bracket and loosen the second before completing step 5 (on page 8). Overall, I couldn’t be happier with this beautiful fan kit!

It's beautiful and we really like the wall switch. We did need an electrician to install it but are very happy with the finished product.

The fan looks good but installation takes hours and the instructions are not easily followed. I would looks somewhere else for a fan. It was expensive and not easy to Install.
