Fidelio for the Win
These things are amazing! I've never owned a pair of studio headphones so I'm loving the new sounds. I've listened to songs that I've heard lots of times, but they sound fresh. I like the open-back sound stage over the closed-back sound stage. It feels like I'm really in a room with the music versus in a sound proof box with it. For some applications (subway, airplane, etc) you want noise canceling headphones, but the majority of my listening is done in my quiet home. I can't recommend these enough.

Amazing
Bought these to add to my growing collection of Open-Backs, and i was shocked by the quality these brought for the price, they feel luxurious and sound fantastic, the widest soundstage ive heard in a headphone alongside fantastic detail retrieval that sounds super immersive, i sat down for hours at a time just listening to music with them Comfort is amazing for long listening sessions, the velour earpads are like, a small home for your ears my only gripe is that the cable is quite long, i own a music player.

Great sound and very comfortable
Having previously owned Sennheisser 575's, I had been considering the X3's as a logical next step. I aim to use the X3,'s for listening to classical music and jazz from Bach to Herbie Hancock, and for playing keyboard at home. The X3's are big and comfy, early days yet but great (in my opinion) for chamber music and vocals. They're crystal clear used direct from a Marantz CD 6007, instruments and vocals are detailed and spacious. Build quality seems good, can't see any flaws The leather and Kvadrat fabric lends an air of luxury.

Outstanding headphones, unbelievable sound
They look the part, very high quality materials, but best of all is the sound quality... used in conjunction with my 1988 800 series equipment it’s hard to imagine anything better
