Description

Dried chiltepin peppers are tiny, round to oval-shaped chiles known for their bold heat and rich, smoky flavor. Often referred to as the “mother of all peppers,” chiltepins are wild peppers native to the southwestern United States and Mexico. When dried, they take on a deep red to reddish-brown color and become slightly wrinkled with a glossy finish.
