Q: Confused, so the dillution ratio is different from the original from web w/ intro of Sodium Gluconate. So if we have the BB glass bottles that have indentation level marks do those still apply?

A: Good question. The dilution ratios have not changed. The sodium gluconate is a chelator, anti-redeposition agent and corrosion inhibitor. It is derived from glucose. Q: I noticed that the concentrate sold at Target has Sodium Gluconate vs the concentrate sold on the BB website has Sodium Phytate. What is the difference, and why is a different ingredient used?

A: Great question! The formula is the same. Rest assured, what you buy at Target is the same safe, high quality formula that you buy directly from the Branch Basics site. When we prepared our labels for Target, we learned that the ingredient list we had been using needed to change when water is pulled out of the individual ingredients. Thus, a slight change in order. Please also note, the Sodium Phytate has been removed from the Target formula and replaced with Sodium Gluconate. This is an environmental improvement that will go into effect with all of our formulas soon! The Sodium Gluconate in our Branch Basics products at Target is a chelator, anti-redeposition agent and corrosion inhibitor. It is derived from glucose.
