Kodiak Cakes Frozen Breakfast Sandwich Bacon and Colby Jack Cheese - 9.24oz/2ct

This seriously is not good. The “bacon” on it was inedible. The pancake itself isn’t terrible but has a gritty taste. Just not a great sandwich.

The taste was not all that but it’s ok to eat IF YOU WANT A EGG SANDWICH OR IF YOU FEEL UP TO COOKING BACON TO PUT ON IT!! I SHOULD HAVE LISTENED TO THE REVIEWS AND PHOTOS!! IT WAS 1 SMALL PIECE OF SEE THRU BACON SPLIT INTO THREE SMALLER PIECES!!! NEVERRRRRRR AGAIN WILL I BUY THIS. ITS REALLY NOT ONE STAR ITS ZERO BUT YOU GOTTA PUT AT LEAST ONE STAR CANT EVEN PUT HALF OF STAR.

My kiddo liked it too and I had to tell her to save me some! Only complaint is the price for two sandwiches. But I might just grab them from time to time. I’m gonna save the only one for my husband haha. This is my first time trying this brand and I love that the ingredients are simple and each one is explained compared to some other brands.

The sandwich was quick to heat up in the microwave with a quick flip and tastes as you would expect. The maple and bacon shine through, the egg was a little bland but still worked well with the sandwich. I love that it is full of protein and only 310 calories - two major bonuses and still tastes pretty good.

The bacon is legit and the tip on the box about opening the sandwich and broiling it really helps. Also I tried it in the air-fryer and it was delicious. The egg was tasty as was the cheese. The pancakes are good but I think I would prefer the bacon on the waffle option. My kid even liked these. The nutritional information is great for both of us to start the day. The instructions are easy and clear. Quick to make when you need a fast but healthy option. I enjoyed these but I want more crunch if possible. Overall these were a hit with us and I would recommend them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love that these pancakes contain so much protein (20 grams!). As someone who needs to add protein in my diet, it’s really helpful. The flavor is good. I was concerned the pancakes might be too sweet but that wasn’t the case. I was surprised to find the Colby cheese slice was ample and real. A lot of breakfast sandwich cheese is thin and artificial. The bacon, egg and pancake are all thin and I like that. There wasn’t any component that was overwhelming. The flavors all blend really well together. The only thing I could consider a negative is that I found it a little difficult to heat evenly. The instructions say to heat for 40 seconds but that was not enough time. I flipped and did another 10 seconds per instructions. I did this a couple more times. There were noticeable temperature changes in spots. Overall the quality was good and I enjoyed it as a breakfast food. I would not eat this every day, but I would eat this again for sure.

We love this breakfast sandwich! Cooking instructions was easy. The box came with 2. The sandwich was DELICIOUS and I will be buying this again and adding it to our breakfast staple. You have the sweetness from the maple pancake and the savory from the bacon and the sweet creamy but mild flavor from the Colby jack cheese. Good amount of everything and great combination!

Two sandwiches come in the box which is very clearly marked with what the sandwich is made with and cooking instructions- which are very easy to follow. It is a fresh soft sandwich due to the pancakes on both sides - does make it a little difficult to pick up as a sandwich although just eating with utensils does not take anything away from how yummy it is!
