The cooking instructions are very clear and the packaging is nice. It is very eye catching. The BBQ flavor is definitely bold but it tasted too artificial for me. The texture is the same as the normal macaroni. The price is reasonable as well. All in all, I just want a fan.

Smoky barbecue macaroni and cheese turned out tasty. It had a hidden kick to it. First bite was fine but the continual bites had a build up of flavor and a slight spice kick. I do not care for spicy foods much and I thought it was delicious. My husband enjoyed it, but my littles were iffy. I would definitely recommend trying!

It’s is creamy, easy to make, and has the classic Kraft texture. But as far as the "barbecue" flavor goes? Pretty underwhelming. I honestly couldn’t taste much of it, if at all. It just tasted like slightly seasoned mac. If you’re really craving a bold or smoky BBQ kick, this won’t hit the spot. Personally, I think Annie’s does a better job overall when it comes to boxed pasta with a bit more depth of flavor.
