They taste 99% like regular eggos except a little more dry texture. Honestly if someone didn’t tell me they were protein waffles I wouldn’t know the difference! My kids can’t tell the difference either!

I used oven to prepare them and it took me just 5 minutes, which is so convenient for busy mornings. The texture is fluffy inside with a light crisp on the outside and has a hearty bite that reminds me of whole grain waffles. The flavor has a slightly nutty and wholesome taste you often get from whole grains even though the package says they are made with enriched wheat flour. They are not too sweet so they work well with any toppings and I love the extra protein for a more filling breakfast.

Regular waffles contain barely any protein so I stopped getting them. I'm a breakfast girl through and through, so as soon as I saw a protein version of eggo waffles I knew I needed them! I honestly feel like these taste better than the non protein version. Really great with some peanut and marshmallow fluff!!

These taste EXACTLY like regular waffles. A lot of “protein” versions of regular foods have a cardboard-like flavor element and these do not. Never stop selling these! They are a new staple in my house.
