Did not like these… no gouda flavor noticeable and overall taste was a “freezer burnt” flavor yet these were not freezer burnt. Would say to discontinue this item.

A bit disappointing
These were okay but a bit disappointing. The pastry outside is great and crisped up nicely in the toaster oven, but the filling was underwhelming. The only flavors I could taste were pumpkin and herbs (so much so that it was a little bitter). There was no noticeable cheese texture or flavor, and the butternut squash wasn't really there either. I felt like the flavors just weren't balanced and they definitely needed more cheese. I ate the 2 boxes I purchased but would not buy again.

I loooved these! I'm not sure where the low reviews were tasting strange flavors, as all I could taste was squash, cheese, garlic, and herbs. They were a great texture out of the air fryer: just watch out for molten squash!

I love squash and Gouda, but these empanadas need an overhaul because everything is wrong. Weird aftertaste for the shell and mild off putting taste for filling. Hubs and I both agreed to toss the rest. Almost served these for a party and glad I didn’t!

Stuffing Empanadas!
I tried these regardless of the bad reviews. Fingers crossed food? I’m in!! Honestly, these weren’t too bad! I wonder if some of the reviews expected them to be sweet. There is a lot of seasoning in the filling that makes it taste like stuffing. They were pleasant! I would buy the again, but I don’t consider them a “must have” like some foods.
