Joie Sesame LX One-Hand Fold Playard with Bassinet & Folding Changer

It is so easy to open and close with the one hand fold, and the size is great for both in home and for travel. We bought the Dove fashion and it looks amazing compared to the last playard we have. Highly recommend!

From the moment we set it up, I was impressed by how sturdy and well-built it is. It feels incredibly secure, which gives me so much peace of mind when my toddler is playing or napping inside. What really stands out is how comfortable it is. Every surface is beautifully padded, making it cozy and safe for my little one. He actually loves being in it, whether he's playing or resting, and that's saying a lot! One of our favorite features is the zipper door — it's a game-changer! He gets to crawl in and out on his own, and it gives him that sense of independence while still keeping him safely contained. The changer attachment is super convenient and sturdy, perfect for quick diaper changes without needing to run to the nursery. I also have to mention how much I appreciate the storage compartments — perfect for keeping wipes, diapers, toys, and all the other essentials organized and within reach. And yes, the color is absolutely gorgeous — modern, neutral, and stylish enough to fit right into any room in the house. Overall, this playard is just amazing. It’s functional, thoughtfully designed, and clearly made with both parents and little ones in mind. Highly, highly recommend it!

My daughter is 1 yr old and she loves climbing so during the day she can climb in and out. It works perfect in our camper for her to safely sleep in.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our son has been in the hospital since birthday and is now 8 months old, so you can imagine that convenience is key. We’ve had the Joie play yard for a little over a week now, and we can honestly say we thoroughly enjoy this product. While it does come with detailed instructions, we found that they weren’t necessary from the beginning. It was extremely easy to set up and even easier to disassemble. The play yard comes with a travel bag that fits everything perfectly. The changing table is very convenient, easy to assemble, and also fits in the travel bag.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This play yard is amazing! It is far superior to my current Graco one I was using and so much easier to put together and take apart. I absolutely love how the bassinet part simply zips on. The mattress seems much more comfortable while still being firm for baby to sleep in. The cherry on top is the storage bag to hold everything even the changer. I am currently using in my room for baby’s bed until she’s old enough for her crib. This will definitely be used for traveling!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This play yard is great! I love that it has multiple features: bassinet, play yard, and a diaper changing pad. Everything felt secure. I especially loved the zipper on the side that you can use to open into the pay yard instead of bending over into the play yard to grab the baby! It is light weight and it all fits in a small black bag. Will be using it for future traveling.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have been using the Joie sesame LX for about a week now and have found it very useful! Love the neutral color design! It has a true one hand closure, and I was even able to collapse the play yard while holding my one year old. He is too big to use the bassinet function, but the feature of being able to close it without removing the infant insert was great designing! The zipper opening has been helpful in getting him used to the pack n play. We leave it unzipped so he can crawl in and out while he is playing on his own. Would have preferred it to zip upward, but we just tuck the flap under the play yard when unzipped. What is most helpful is how the sides lock in to place correctly everytime, and how the changing table add-on clicks in and locks in to place easily. Definitely recommend this play yard over other brands/designs on the market we have tried.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Joie sesame XL playard with a bassinet and changer about a week ago. It took me 5 minutes to assemble by myself. The fabric is plus and ultra soft. It feels like a luxury item. I'm almost jealous my baby gets to sleep in it and not me. I love how the colors are very neutral for all genders and it could match any room you put it in. It's not an eye sore like other playards I've had in the past. The playard is very sturdy, feels high quality, and looks expensive. I'm obsessed with it and my little one is too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a foster parent I’ve parented a lot of kids and dealt with the a lot of pack n plays . This one by far was the easiest set up, literally one hand and didn’t have to make sure the sides were up/ even/ etc. Super easy to transport and even has straps to put it on your back! Only downfall id say was figuring out how to button the straps correctly to put in the bag and transport!

Easy and even folds into the bag for easy transport. Love how simple it is to fold this thing up. Can’t tell you how many times I’ve had my little guy in my arms trying to fold this up to run out the door. Love the color too. I’m obsessed with the whole Joie brand so having this is an added bonus!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this play yard! Super easy set up. For real one hand set up! Here's a breakdown of some of my favorite features - zip in bassinette. I loved how easy the bassinette is to take on and off. - The tags! There are tags sewn on everything as to the weight limits, so no going to track down the manual to try to see if your baby is a safe weight to use. - The changing table attachment is safe to 25 lbs! - the fabric is a little diffrent than what I was used to but honestly my baby LOVES it. She will actually play or sleep in it. It's soft like a quilt but the bed is sturdy. - the zip down area! Yall this was a GAME CHANGER for getting my crib/playpen hater to actually realize it ain't so bad. She can crawl in herself. Also saves your back when putting them in asleep. Way way easier transfer than a drop down! My only complaint is there was a sort of plastic like smell straight out of the box but it dissipated very quick.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my third baby product from Joie and I’m back to rave upon another; their Sesame LX. This is another must-have from parents, grandparents and caregivers. This one-hand fold playard with bassinet and changer, took me less than 5 minutes to set up. If you’ve ever been an owner of a Graco Pack ‘n Play (like I have) you know how super tricky they are to set up and break down, which is very frustrating and time consuming! The Sesame LX is a breath of fresh air and zero hassle like they state. With it’s modern look and innovative features, it makes for the perfect playard. We own the Dove which is soft grey in color and just beautiful. No busy prints, which I like. It has a soft cotton material which is cozy and breathable for baby. It’s also amazingly easy to spot clean. It features all around mesh for visibility and ventilation, a folding plush changer which fits in the bag (amazing!) and a zippered easy-access door for baby to have free play. That is probably one of my favorite features as our baby is now pretty active, so this was fun! Lastly, it comes with spacious pockets for diapers, wipes and baby essentials. I want to mention the placement indicators for the changer are very helpful. We had my parents visiting with us the past week and it was helpful for them to have this when babysitting. A couple things I will mention however, is the bassinet portion and the free play mode zipper buckle. My baby seemed to sink in the middle of the bassinet when in place. There is a hole located in the center of the bassinet which causes it to weaken when baby is laying on it. With the zipper buckle, it is extremely hard to release so that you can unzip the front of the playard so that your child can exit. The buckle is very tiny and does require quite a bit of strength to undo. We have enjoyed using the Sesame and look forward to taking it with us on vacation at the end of the week. We love how small and compact it is and will be going with us now on all our trips!
