Delicious rich creamy chocolate ice cream bar
This is the Nightingale chocolate blackout ice cream sandwiches in the chomp size. There are 4 good sized bars individually wrapped in each box. This bar was over the top delicious. It is a thick chunk of super creamy chocolate ganache ice cream with mini chocolate cake chunks in it. The ice cream is so smooth it’s better than homemade with the perfect amount of rich chocolate. The outer chocolate cookie layer is moist and fresh, not soggy as it is thick enough to hold up while you eat this yummy treat. It is the perfect size, it definitely fills you up but you will still want more!

With so many great reviews I was super excited to try these, but was let down. They’re not the worst, but the ice cream isn’t creamy and too much cookie. I was planning to hide them from family lol but will definitely be sharing and not buying again.

Huge punch of flavor in a small treat
At first sight I was a little disappointed at the size, but these are SO rich I hard time finishing one. The brownie it’s self didn’t have much flavor and was a little sticky so I ate most with a fork. The ice cream center was a little ice crystal-ly, so I suspect at some point in the distribution process the slightly melted, but the flavor and chocolate chips inside helped mask the texture. I would totally buy them again.

Flavor packed ice cream sandwich
In my household we take dessert and ice cream very seriously and do not just buy anything on the shelf - if we are having dessert it has to be worth it and WOW these really meet that standard. The cookie on these chocolate blackout sandwich is soft and rich with flavor then you get the perfectly firm ice cream that is a flavor packed ice cream. All together this is an amazing ice cream treat and the price is very justified as they are so good, so tasty, and the best new treat I have had in a long time.

This chocolate blackout ice cream sandwich is so good. It is so rich, so delicious, and so much chocolate in each and every bite. There is a great deal of ice cream in the sandwich and the cookies are so soft and thick too so it doesn’t fall apart as soon as you take one bite. These are called chomp size but not to be confused with a 1-2 bite item, these still are decent sized and are a perfect ice cream treat!

The perfect layered sweet treat!
Before mentioning the taste (spoiler: they’re great!) I have to note the size of these. I was expecting almost a bite size treat, but was surprised, in a good way, to see that these were actually a good portion size. They are individually wrapped in a quality packaging that looks very nice. The flavor combo of the brownie and cake is just what anyone needs for a special treat…or mid-day mom snack :)

What a delightful, chocolatey treat! This is the perfect sized dessert to satisfy your sweet tooth! Big enough to fulfill a chocolate craving but not so big that you’re left feeling stuffed. First bite into it was pure chocolate bliss! A delicious soft, chocolate cookie outside and decadent chocolate ice cream inside. It was just the right amount of chocolate without it being too much! Would definitely recommend these!

My son is obsessed with brownies and chocolate ice cream, so when I saw these ice cream sandwiches, I knew he would want to try them. Only four came in a pack, but they were each wrapped individually and a decent size with the richness of the brownie and chocolate. My son said they were absolutely delicious. He did have to give it a little time to soften up as it was super hard and frozen when he took it out of the freezer. Pretty packaging as well!

Rich chocolatey flavor for dessert
This ice cream sandwich was so yummy! I had tried a different flavor before and loved it so wanted to give this one a try as a chocolate lover! It was so tasty! I loved the outer chocolate cookie/brownie texture and the smooth chocolate ice cream. The square size is perfect- it is much thicker than a standard ice cream sandwich so fills you up. Initially I thought the size was small but after eating one I was pleasantly surprised by the rich flavor!

DISCLAIMER: I made an extra stop on the way home and the ice-cream melted a bit, then I froze it again. That's why it looks a little off. Also because of that, the texture and taste was a little crystallized.. DISPITE my error, these tasted great. They have an actual chocolate flavor in the ice-cream and cake. They are a nice quality and they were bigger than I thought. Good portion size.

I might have found a new favorite guilty pleasure late night sweet snack! These Chocolate Blackoit Nightengale ice cream sandwiches are so good. The chocolate is the right balance of sweet and dark and strong. And the contrast between the chewy cookies and smooth ice cream and crunchy chocolate pieces inside is nice. The only issue I might have is the chomp size is rather thick, I would prefer if the sandwich’s were a bit longer and thinner, but I “suffer” through the thick bites for the delicious rewards.
