Tender

I purchased this because I was craving steak and it’s very tender even cooked well done. I have heard of butcher box before and glad to see it at target. I did knock off a star because it had a lot of gristle but I would purchase again

Meat was spolied

The price was great so I brought 3 packs. I was excited to get home to make for dinner for my family. When I got home and open the packs the meat smelled spoiled and had an awful sour smell. I ended up throwing them out. This was my first and last time buying this brand of beef from Target. Really disappointed.

Our favorite steaks now at Target!!

First off, LOVE this brand already as I get their subscriptions monthly. So I was thrilled to see them at Target. Their meat is always top notch in my book and incredibly delicious. We love that we can now get our favorite grass-fed steaks when we run out.

NY Strip is the classic steak you think of when you think steak... maybe that and ribeye. I love this NY strip because it cooks quickly for weeknight meals. I had it on its own but it'd be great for steak bowls or tacos... trying that next.

finally!

great steak, great to get good quality grass fed and finished meat from a local store. and at a very decent price! grass fed and finished beef tastes much different than conventionally raised beef, which is what target usually sells. if one is not accustomed to the difference, or not expecting it, they may not like it, as it is different than they are used to. conventionally raised beef is more buttery, where grass fed and finished beef tastes more beefy, and has a hint of that organ meat flavor. this steak was wonderful, I cooked it on the stove with herbs and grass fed butter, highly recommend!
