Q: I ALSO GOT SHOCKED. I thought I was going crazy and even had my husband come and test it and he got shocked when we pushed down on the pump. Why is this happening?

A: Yep same!! Happened just last night. I was in the shower sooo *moisturized* … HA! But just the first pump. It’s been fine after that.

This means that they allow their finished products or ingredients to be tested on animals by suppliers, third parties, or both. Vanicream is not cruelty-free.

They changed something in the formula and now it has an awful smell and is unusable.
Used this facewash for several years and suddenly within the last six months the formula and smell was not the same. I bought it like I normally do and when I went to use it the smell was awful and I could not use it. I went back to the store another day and went to get another new one, thinking it was a one off bottle, but smelled the bottle before I left the store and it had the same awful scent. Smelled several more bottles and they were all the same. Had to throw out the full bottle at home and switch to another brand altogether due to the unexpected change to the product that makes it unusable. Very disappointed.

not suitable for oily/acne prone skin
bought this because my face started to feel dry so i wanted a cleanser to gently cleanse my face & it was okay but then my face started to get little bumps. it first started in my forehead which i thought was normal because i usually break out on my forehead but then it started spreading everywhere & the pimples would feel itchy + they were a bit painful. i do have oily & acne prone skin so personally this just didn’t work for me.
