Q: 2 of my kids are each receiving a nintendo lite for Christmas. If I purchase this family membership, will it allow them to play games together on their lites that they normally couldn't play together?

Q: For some reason I can't add this to my shopping cart, it only gives me an option of adding to a registry, why is this happenning?
A: Apparently it is "out of stock" according to the guy I chatted with through Help/Contact Us. Makes no sense how a digital download is out of stock but I guess they only sold a limited amount and decided to remove the "Add to Cart" button instead of putting "Out of Stock" on the webpage for whatever reason.
submitted byLB - 5 years agoA: They have them in stock in the stores, and it uses the same system as online (the cards in stores don’t have codes on them). They clearly aren’t “out of stock”. Whoever told you that is lying to you.

Q: My son has a Nintendo switch lite and if I purchase this will he be able to play and download games
A: Well actually this membership is just to unlock things such as being able to play with other online users, such as his friends, and backup his data just incase anything happens to the switch lite. You do not actually need a membership to play and download games. You can do this without a membership at all for free, as long as you pay for the game. If you were meaning to play with friends and backup his progress on games, then yes. However this is a family pass, and if it is just him I would suggest getting the single pass. But all in all no you do not need this to be able to play and download games you can do this for free. I hope this helps!

Q: Is the family subscription for multiple switches?
A: The users don't need to be on the same switch to use the nintendo membership. The person who bought the membership doesn't need to have a profile on the switches either. As long as you register the profiles as a family on the nintendo site, it will work

Q: I bought this at target, but every time that I try to activate it using the code, it stops me by talking about a "renewal payment" even though I already paid at target. How do you use the membership?
