A: Hello Sean - Thank you for your interest in this Blue Slushee Cup from Bullseye's Playground. The inside includes brine (salt water) as the freezing liquid. It is not harmful if ingested in a small amount, however we do not encourage drinking larger amounts as it may cause nausea. This is mentioned on the packaging. I hope this helps! - Cynthia

Great idea, poor quality. It worked to make the slush but the top pulled off when trying to unscrew the piece to clean it.
