Q: How tall are each bird?

A: The height of each bird is definitely not 13.5 inches if these are the same size as all the previous birds. I would think maybe closer to 3.5 inches tall, per bird.

A: The box itself is that tall because it's two birds tall. Each bird is more like 6.5-7 inches depending on hat size

Thanks Target for mailing me this lovingly repackaged item. It will make a really classy presentation when I give it at Christmas. I don’t know what part is better: the slipshod packing tape strewn crookedly from front to back, the birds shoved inside willy-nilly, or maybe how the lid was taped on while sticking up unevenly and bent. Thanks for such high class attention to detail.
