HORRIBLE
the shelf is horrible. the instructions are wrong and tell you to put some of the unfinished sides facing out. the material is CHEAP. I mean for $40 what should I expect but half the wood gets destroyed when your just hand tightening the screws in. there is no screws to hold the middle part of the shelf together when putting together. save your time and money.

The wrong item was delivered and I had to return it in person. The item I actually ordered was not available and the shopper just gave me anything. The wrong items and the wrong color and the boxes were torn. Unbelievable! The shopper really just didn’t care and it showed. Complete waste of my time. This was my first time ordering online from target and it was a very bad experience. It will most likely be my last online order from target.

Bought in store, if I didn’t fully assemble it I would 100% return it. The shelves don’t fit together snugly, half of the way to assemble it are pegs that go too far in and are barely holding anything together. Cheaply made and terrible way to assemble this. Plus cardboard for the back half

Very easy to break
I’m pretty disappointed in this product. I just needed some simple shelving/storage for a closet to store cleaning items. I wasn’t looking for anything fancy, so I figured this would be perfect and seemed like it would be a breeze to put together. The shelves were so thin they were constantly breaking and cracking to expose the screws(as pictured). I’ve used all sorts of different materials when it comes to furniture, but this one was by far the worst I’ve ever had to put together. Luckily, it’s just going in a closet, but it looks terrible. I’m just hoping it is sturdy enough to at least use it for what I need.

this bookshelf kinda sucks, they switched over these bookshelves to this new brand, they are very poor quality! bookshelf is very flimsy, very cheap quality and look like they came from the dollar store! I don't recommend, the finish looks terrible and cheap as well!

so disappointing.. dont even bother
Don't even bother wasting your money or time buying this, or the time you will have to take returning it. I have put many things together before, and never have I ever put together something like this with, of all things, plastic dowels. Of course, right off the bat, one breaks right in half. I'm returning it and apparently going to have to spend double the price of this one to get a different one that, in the end, has sturdy pieces of wood in the hope that it will NOT come with plastic dowels. I mean, plastic? How the heck is that supposed to add any kind of sturdiness to the shelf that already isn't the most sturdy thing out there? In the end I wouldn't even bother and unless you find one cheaper else where your better off just buying the more expensive one to begin with.
