    Frustrating....

    Putting together the bookshelves was overall easy and pretty straightforward. The process and quality was great until it came to attaching the backing. It did not matter where the nails were placed, they ultimately resulted, more often than not, bulging the material to the extent that it is visible. It is all up and down the unit, inside and out. We have put together and used many of these products from many different manufacturers and never had issues like this. Admittedly, I have previously occasionally misplaced the nail and broke through the wood but this was occurring no matter how close or far I was from the wall of the piece. I attached some pictures, its not really as visible on the images as it is in person, but its very frustrating that I have to look at it like this every time I go into my son’s bedroom. I expected better from an in-house Target brand.

    Easy assmbly.

    This was easy to put together. Its heavy, so I had to carry it in a couple of pieces at a time. I got it together by myself in about an hour. I did need a hammer and an electric screw driver.

    Weak dowels, not worth it.

    Extremely flimsy. I used to use these to add to my library shelving. . . Not anymore. The dowels are cheap plastic now instead of pine like they used to be. Not as sturdy as they once were. I'll have to make the switch to another brand.

    I ordered this for my girlfriend, got home from picking it up, being extra careful because I know how partical board is easily damaged… I started taking the pieces out, one by one & noticed a big piece was broken where the dowel is supposed to go. So I read the instructions & emailed the manufacturer included everything they said on the paper & literally 48 hours later I received the 2 parts that were messed up & a few extra pieces. I thought that was nice of them. I will be ordering from this manufacturer again!! I highly recommend this product & all the other ones they make
