Let’s start with IT IS NOT BLACK! It is most definitely dark grey! A much cheaper version of the IKEA one. Worth it to just go ikea! This scratches incredibly easy, not for a lot of use!

Many pieces were damaged!
For starters, my first package was somehow lost, so this was a replacement order, for the first one I didn’t receive. That was already somewhat of an inconvenience but I was willing to wait a bit longer for the replacement. Upon receiving the replacement, you would see the box was pretty busted up, so I was afraid of how the contents would look once opened. As I suspected many of the pieces were damaged. Also looks like water damage may have occurred as some pieces of wood were swollen. I don’t order from target often and this doesn’t make my experience any better. I was super excited to surprise my son with his new organizer, but overall I’m very disappointed.

Arrived with spots of damage all around it.
It was delivered damaged. I don’t know if this damaged occurred before shipment or from the shipping process, but it is incredibly disappointing to get finished building the shelf and see that there are chipping paint or parts of the wood showing, indentions from it being hit with something, scratches and damage to the corner. It also has dirty dusty spots but that was fine, it’s just If I pay for something and it’s brand new I expect it to arrive in new looking condition or else I would just buy a used looking item off marketplace. The only way to get a replacement is to ship it back, but no one is going to take back an already built shelf and it’s annoying to have to unbuild it and rebox it. Pictures show the damage.

The item came damaged, the shipping box and the shelf. I contacted saying we put together and would prefer a full or partial refund rather than having to take it apart and send it back and we never heard back. Haven’t been able to use it for its intend purpose because we have been waiting to find out if we have to dissemble it or not. No response from target is surprising and disappointing. Obviously the quality of the shelf isn’t great if it would break during shipping.

At first I noticed a slightly scraped piece, however, my biggest surprise was as I continued to assemble more and more I found more deteriorated pieces. I called customer service and the solution was that I took and returned the product at a physical point so that they could send me another one or return it to me. The truth is that solution disgusted me, because I precisely ordered it online to avoid having to go to a store. I felt as if I had bought something used and not new. In the end, the solution they gave me was not viable for me
