Was great the 1st use but after that it's no better than any other vacuum.. Yeah it empties itself but it gets gunked up in the handle end clear cannister with dust & pet hair in the one spot that you absolutely can't get to at all to clean out. The trap door gets jammed with any tiny metal fragments the vacuum picks up & the doesn't close right & it's next to impossible to get the tiny piece of metal off of the door magnets which results in poor suction. After about 3 months the tube connectors wear & get wobbly and lastly, the battery life is very short.

Bought this a year ago. I hate it. The little plastic window in the canister that collects debris and you CANNOT empty it. I was told this is "normal". Also when you lift the vacuum off the stand you have to click the trap door closed, but sometimes there's debris all over it as well and it doesn't close. The debris is supposed to get all sucked into the bin but it doesn't always. Also only one attachment. By the time I realized I couldn't empty the little window, I was past the return. Save yourself your sanity and just buy a Miele.

Cool function with the dirt detection but I always end up having it on the highest suction for normal everyday dirt and pet hair. Does not clean all the hair on carpets and just moves it around. Only had it about a year and the self cleaning is hit and miss for working and now the beater bar is doing weird stuff and stays on even when the vacuum is off.

I had high expectations for this vacuum because of the price. Unfortunately it lacks in a few areas. 1) pet hair can easily cause the roller to stop rolling even though it's not caught 2) pet hair and dirt clogs the vacuum and you have to empty the canister often (it's too small) 3) when you pull back towards yourself while vacuuming, it locks into it's stand up position so when you roll it away from you it's no longer actually on the floor anymore - it's in a right angle position. This to me is very very very annoying. It happens so much that I will likely try to sell it. I don't have time to keep pressing the vacuuming part with my foot to correct it. Sometimes I've swiped the floor .ore than once without noticing. Urgh!!!! 4) the power runs out very very fast. I cannot do my entire area I used to do with a lesser of a Shark cordless model. 5) you have to clean the big canister out a lot, it's also not very big. My robot vacuum has an auto suction canister as well but it compacts it so it holds a lot more. Overall definitely not worth the money and I will likely sell it.

Does not do that great on carpet and there is a manufacturer flaw in the dust bin as little particles are collecting inside the little bin and it won’t empty! There’s no way to get this dirt out of the bin and it just keeps collecting in it

I bought this vacuum a month ago thru this website and it was in a discounted price which was good. I didn’t post my review yet coz I wanna see first how it’s going to be. So here are the things I noticed based in my personal experience. 1. At first the suction power was excellent. I was happy to finish vacuuming fast. But now I noticed that its not that powerful anymore. There are some crumbs that it won’t suck right away. And it’s only one month of use. I usually vacuum every other day. 2. I didn’t like that the charging time takes long time and you cannot use it halfway of its charging time unlike my other cordless vacuum that starts with “D” that I can use after 15min of charging. My first days of use I was excited to vacuum the upper and main floor. But I ran out of battery and its only small area left to vacuum. I charged it and waited for 30min, tried finishing my work but it didn’t turn so I have to return to charger. My work left hanging. Not good. 3. Hard to use on high pile area rug. 4. Sometimes when I turn on there’s this squeaking sound so I have to off and disconnect the parts and put back again. Sorry for the very long review but I just wanna share my experience. Im still thinking if Im gonna return or no.

I have ADHD and this vacuum is perfect for how our brains are wired lol we need immediate, fast acting, smooth tangible transitions on a whim, period! i am always in a rush when vacuuming therefore very HARD on the machine always banging it off furniture, baseboards you name it. its a beast! LOVE LOVE LOVE the auto empty feature ( my favourite part) perfection in my book, again wanting to quickly vacuum cause your squirly brain saw some dirt and nothing worse then having to stop your thought process and empty out the vacuum..busy! The bottom that collects the debris is excellent VERY VERY easy to dump when you feel u want to hahahaha again ADHD. The real bones of this vacuum is the battery ( short battery life is a useless vacuum) i live in a 1200 sq home with a 24/7 wood burning stove and a LGD (large guardian dog) the dog should be outside but lives inside (spoiled) the battery last on high for a good clean approx 25 min. I vacuum 2 times a day ( due to the spoiled HAIRY dog) side note.. i would prefer to see no lights on the beater brush as my brain thinks i would get more battery use lol all in all the auto empty is addicting and makes you wanna vacuum just to watch it.

I just purchased the Detect Pro cordless yesterday and have just used it once so far. I just love the auto clean! I have 2 woolly huskies and their hair has always been an issue. I was hoping the issue I have had with my first Shark and the Tineco I have been using would be resolved with this newer model. Unfortunately it hasn’t. On hardwood floors it is fine but on carpets it does pick up the hair but leaves a line of hair as I push vacuum back and forth. If this could be resolved I would be so thankful!

It's usually due to poor suction but the Shark did not have that problem. I was super impressed with the suction and all of the features. It does a really nice cleanup on my floors, carpet and others. I love how it detects stubborn dirt and increases its suction power to pick it up. I don't have anything bad to say about this vacuum. It just work excellent! I would highly recommend it!

This one is really good for daily run through but not quite what I would want for a deep clean or spring clean. It does have great features and I imagine in an apartment it would be all you need. It’s very lightweight and easy to move around. Fantastic that hair doesn’t get so caught in it. I think for my own preference and price point I wouldn’t purchase again but definitely would if I had a smaller area.

I didn't think that the Auto-Empty System would be that great or necessary but now I don't know how we did without it. The beauty of the system is that it essentially blows/sucks through the screen of the vacuum when it auto-empties, thus keeping it cleaner than just opening the hatch and dumping it, like on a Dyson. On top of all of that the vacuum and it's auto power mode are great and work as good as our corded vacuum and better than our cordless Dyson.

The footprint of the vacuum storage unit itself is quite small and does not take up a lot of space so that is very nice. The vacuum itself has great suction and the head able to fit quite far under low tables. The light on the front is a nice add as well. It shows dirt on the floors and makes cleaning easier. I also like the feature that the base cleans out the vacuum after each use. This vacuum is quiet and I can vacuum the entire house in one charge. In all, I highly recommend. The only thing I wish the vacuum had was more attachments but it does come with a crevice tool.

Good suction on various surfaces, not very loud (it is still a vacuum so some noise level is expected), and very easy to use. We now have our 7 year old son vacuuming his room as one of his weekly chores and his feedback was ‘super fun’. I was not sure about the auto empty system, but it is pretty cool actually and saves time and keeps everything cleaner. I think that if you are looking for a new vacuum cleaner, you will not be disappointed!
