Love the cordless feature
I was excited for a cordless hand mixer, but it does not have the power that a plug in has. After 5 years it does not hold the charge it use to, I have to charge more often.

Powerful, Efficient, and Cordless!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Without a doubt, this is one of the best KitchenAid small appliances I own. This hand mixer is fantastic. The slow start keeps ingredients from flying out of the bowl. The mixing quality is excellent and it really keeps its charge. I don't use it all the time, but I have had if for just over 2 months and am still on the initial charge. The beaters work well and the mixer is much quieter than other hand mixers I've owned in the past. I didn't think I needed a hand mixer, as I own multiple KitchenAid stand mixers, but for the small jobs, this mixer does the trick and does it very well. I am very pleased with my purchase and definitely recommend it highly.

Great unit but whisker came apart after light use
Great product except the whisker came apart. Didn’t know making cookies (and almost solely cookies) would cause the whicker bottom to separate from the shaft. All this on a unit less than 2 years old (out of warranty, of course)…

CORDLESS HAND MIXER
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had a Kitchenaid stand mixer for at least 34 years, and I love it. So when my corded hand mixer died, I bought the corded Kitchenaid hand mixer. I loved how it preformed, however I was at the point where the cord always seemed to be in the way, so when I saw that Kitchenaid had a cordless hand mixer I bought it. It is awesome. It stays charged a long time, however when I need to recharge it, it takes almost no time to recharge it. It has so much speed and such a great mixing ability, I LOVE IT!

Not enough power
I bought this to replace my black and decker old hand held mixer for small batches of baking but it didn't have the speed I expected from kitchenaid so it was only used once and just sits in a kitchen dresser..

Would be a good mixer
After 2 years of light use, even though the beaters are not bent and have always been installed correctly, the beaters began to collide. Occasionally, since new, the mixer would refuse to run at higher speeds after a full charge. Had these not occurred, it would have been a great product.

I would be a big fan of this product if it had lasted. Within a couple uses, the beaters started rattling. After 7 months, the beaters both snapped apart where the rods were attached to the whisk parts. All I have used these for is for making whipped cream, nothing extreme. There is no reason this should have happened for such a high-dollar product. My cheapo corded hand mixer beaters have never had any problem at all. Why can't the beaters on this one be that durable?
