Do your shipping packers have training or do you not care?
I actually love the platter and would have been thrilled if either of the 2 platters shipped to my house had arrived in one piece. The first was thrown along with other hard items in a box with a little bit of plastic bubble stuff for funzies and came broken in multiple places. The fix an issue option had another platter getting mailed out to me within a week which was nice. However it came in a box without any kind of packaging at all. A porcelain platter was mailed in a box 4 times its size without any kind of wrapping or packaging to protect it. It came as essentially mosaic pieces of all sizes, including little porcelain crumbs. What person packs a highly breakable item without any sort of protection and considers that a job well done? What did they think would happen? And it’s seasonal so the window of getting the platter has closed now. I was super excited about it. Oh well, the platter itself is not a big deal. But, sheesh Target, train your people better.

Not a good idea
The 5-star reviews strongly recommended picking this up at the store as theirs arrived broken. I will say that even if you pick it up at the store, it may break very soon. I accidentally knocked it on the cabinet door when I was going to wash it before using it for the first time and the whole section on the right broke off. I expected a chip, but not this. I do not recommend.

Do not order this for delivery. Pick up at your store when possible. Item has arrived totally shattered twce now!
While this piece is gorgeous it has arrived totally shattered twice now! Both orders literally had zero protective packaging in the box. One box that was used was actually 2 boxes taped together that looked like the carrier literally tossed it around in their truck in transit.
