Q: is this product self stick

A: I bought it for my college student daughter’s dorm where nails are not allowed on wall. Because the back edge is flat and thr board is light, we purchased the 3m velcro hanging kit and its been hanging securely on velcro stickers for two years now. So yes it can be placed on wall without perforating the wall.

A: Hi Neen, Thank you for your interest in our 14"x14" Square Frameless Cork Board Tile! We would not recommend cutting it as there is an MDF frame that the cork is wrapped around that gives the board structure.

Con: It’s not very self healing like a traditional cork board, therefore for pin collections where you often move your board around and adding often the holes are visible aesthetically not pleased to me. Not sure why it’s called a cork board. It’s cardboard with a cork-like appearance. Pins poke thru the back. Holes don’t “heal”. Would not recommend or purchase again even for $9.99.

I needed these corkboard squares for a protective back for my door in the garage for a dart board game. I purchased several of them and used command strips to hang them up. If the darts miss the dartboard they simply stick into the corkboard and not nick my door. They were very inexpensive compared to what I was shopping for online. I would recommend them.

The cork board itself is a great size, however they don’t stay on the wall well with the mounting tools it comes with. If you barely touch it the whole thing falls off the wall. I had to put my own command strips on the back to keep it on the way.

You get what you pay for. It's cheap and has flaws. One of my biggest issues with it is that it is not thick enough to keep your pins from poking out the back, which is annoying (and painful) if you're needing to take it off the wall and move it. The fact that it has a wood frame, similar to a mounted canvas, means there is a roughly one inch border all around the square that you can't push pins into. All in all, I'm bummed that I spent my time and money on this, but if you're short on cash and need a bulletin board, you could make this work.
Put a cork in it. We found an amazing product!

This cork board is strong and is exactly what I was looking for. My daughter hung it up in her dorm and she’s been able to literally hang up and keep a ton of information on this board. We have tested out many cork boards and none of them compare to this one. This one is thick and sturdy. We are definitely purchasing more for our home.

This is not a solid cork board! Its MDF, mostly cardboard, and a very thin layer of cork on top. The description is misleading. And pinholes definitely do not "disappear" like it claims.

This is not a cork tile. It's a fiberboard tile covered in a very thin layer of cork. The one I received was damaged: On one corner, the cork layer had peeled and scrunched up, apparently before the glue dried, because it's stuck in place and I can't massage it back to being flat again. I removed the two thumbtacks that come with it, and it left huge holes behind. A real cork tile is self-healing (the holes "bounce back" and become nearly invisible after removing thumbtacks). This is junk, and will look like shredded up Swiss cheese after only a few uses.

It's pretty flimsy quality. Aside from the actual frame, there is just a very thin layer of cork over cardboard, which I couldn't tell until I opened the package. I wish I had spent a little more on something better quality.

I didn't like it. I can see the pin holes once I take out the pin. i didn't want to spend much so ordered this one. it looked great when but since the board appears very smooth the pin holes are very apparent. And i don't like that feeling. Also, next time when you use the same spot its loose.

Love it! It’s the perfect size and looks great on my wall. It’s light weight so you don’t need a drywall anchor. Plus it comes with some wall mount nails. Very cute and looks great in my office.
