Q: Is it possible to attach this to a wall without using the screws?

Q: How do you recommend hanging this on the side of a refrigerator?
A:Â Hi Momof2boyz, We are delighted you have found our Wood Frame Chalkboard Calendar! This board comes with hardware designed to mount on a wall with the use of nails. It would likely too heavy to attach magnets to, and mount on a fridge. we reocmmend trying one our smaller magnet backed dry erase weekly format boards which fit easily and are lightweight for use on fridges.

Q: Is the mounting system an adhesive or does it use nails?
A:Â Hi Rachel, We are happy to see you noticing our Wood Frame Chalkboard! The mounting hardware included with our board consists of nails and two small metal brackets.

A:Â Hi Kevinojr, Thank you for your interest in our Calendar Chalkboard! Chalk MArkers do work with our board. We recommend using our Neon U Brands Chalk markers for best results and ease of eraseability.

Q: What can we do if the pencils run out?
A:Â Hi Caroline, Thank you for noticing our Chalkboard Calendar! If you use up the chalk pencils, additional pencils are available for purchase, both white and colored.

Q: Is this board porous or nonporous? I currently have it and am looking into buying colored chalk markers, but have heard they do not work well on porous blackboards
A:Â Hi Nikkk, Thank you for your interest in our Board! The Chalk Board is non-porous as the chalk paint is over a steel layer. We do recommend testing a small spot with chalk markers as stainign can vary from brand to brand. happy planning!

Q: the chalk pencil thing if they break can u use a sharpener to sharpen them again

Q: How is this supposed to be cleaned? Soap and water? Or is it meant to be erased with a dry cloth like a regular chalkboard?
A:Â Thank you for your interest in our board! We recommend whiping the board off in the same fashion as a regular chalkboard. If you decide to use a paint chalk type marker, then we would recommend a damp towel.
