Really enjoyed these for a short time.
First, if this review is not published, please make sure that the company reads this. When I began to use these mugs, I truly enjoyed them. For some odd reason however, two of the four mugs have crack-fissures that make them unuseable; the white and the gray. This happened this winter here in north central USA where it gets cold. This happened when I made hot tea in the afternoon. When I poured boiling water into the mugs, on separate occasions, I heard a Loud cracking noise and the mug contents was seeping out. The crack(s) extend from the top opening to the bottom. Now, to save the last two remaining mugs, I first heat the mug with warm tap water, discard it and then pour in the boiling water. So far, so good. In the morning, I make coffee but I have never poured the coffee directly into the mug from the carafe. I have always used a plastic cone with a paper filter that sits on top of the mug and drips coffee into the mug. This, I have found, helps to warm the mug slowly and has yet to cause a crack. I would like to rate these mugs higher, but with two out of four unusable, I can't. Thank you for reading this.
