A: Yes the matte comes out completely unlike some of Target's other frames.

Q: Is the mat acid-free? Some other Target frames say they are acid-free in the description, but this one doesn't say.

I love the look of these frames. I purchased three of them for my dinning room. Unfortunately, one was broken so I reordered a replacement. Sadly the replacement came in broken as well. Now they are out of stock and I still need one to complete my wall.

Really love the look of this, taking one star away for quality. The product was damaged upon delivery, and target requires a return before replacing it. So it made it a hassle because I had to return in store, and then order online - hoping to have the replacement be delivered without a crack. Love the look so hopefully it’s worth it!

Love these frames! They look very high end and though the price is a little steep, buying cheaper frames + custom mattes would have cost just as much. The only negative was that 1 frame had sawtooth picture hangers on the back and the other 2 had triangle hangers. It sounds like they changed the picture hanging hardware and I got a mixture of the old and new. The sawtooth hangers are so much better, so if that's what they are using going forward, I definitely recommend these frames. The clips on the back make it so easy to swap your photos when needed.

I just purchased these in November and am in love with the overall aesthetic. I love the large frame size, the uniqueness of the matting with negative space and the impressive quality: these are solid, sturdy and include real glass (not plexiglass). Considering these could easily pass for professionally framed pieces, I think $50 is a steal. I don’t normally pay that much for frames myself, but given the quality and style, I knew I’d have these for many years and considered them to be an investment in my home. Also, if you’re on the fence after reading the negative reviews, I noticed the frames I purchased recently had two claw hangers on the back and didn’t have the same hardware from the negative reviews. The packaging with my frames also explicitly indicated that wire should not be used when hanging. It sounds like they changed the hardware due to the previous design flaw that caused the pictures to fall off the wall.
