I purchased the matching nightstands for my room and added marble tops for an added touch. It handles the weight of the marble nicely. These pieces will need to handled with a gentle touch such as no slamming or heavy items. I’ve had mine for 3+ years and are still in amazing condition

Disappointed… listen to the review regarding the peeling. I bought 2 black matching nightstands and both are experiencing the same thing. The design is exactly what I was looking for and now I’m stuck with 2 worn items after paying $400.

Both of these came with what looks like marbled water damage on the top that you can only notice in direct light. I didn’t notice until I put it together and put my lamp on it in my room. It looks so gross and now I’ve already put it together and it’s too difficult to return. Not at all worth the money.

I would not hesitate to recommend this item to anyone looking for a small nightstand. It was packaged perfectly, quick and easy to build with simple steps and great instructions (grab your drill or screwdriver) and feels solid and looks fantastic. It's not for large home master bedrooms as its a bit small, but its perfect for smaller bedrooms/apt. So happy to have nabbed these. They match my Anthropologie bed frame P E R F E C T L Y. I'm very happy with this purchase.

Likes: width, style, color, ease of assembly. I searched long and hard for a wide black nightstand with no rattan accents. Happy to have these! Dislikes: smells like neem oil, one of the legs is too short & makes the table rock, the back board & drawer bottoms are literally just black sheets of particleboard

Thank God I only bought one of these! This item comes unassembled and was a pain in the neck to put together. I'm pretty much a carpenter now. I give four stars because it does look nice and it feels pretty sturdy thanks to my mad building skills. ;)

The top of this looks more like a photo of wood. I thought it would be a thin wood veneer top. I am disappointed with the overall quality given it's from Magnolia, but I guess this is what you get these days for a couple hundred dollars.

These bedside tables are so pretty and easy to put together! Their downfall is their poor quality. We have had them less than a month and the paint is already wearing off the top where we set our water cups.

Very pleasantly surprised with how heavy this was. I was expecting much cheaper materials. That being said, I don't love that the back of the piece is a cut piece of plywood with veneer attached. It slides into a groove in the back and there are small clips that hold it in place. However, now that I have it in place against a wall and I'm using it, I don't even notice it's there.

There are bubbles that form on the top of this night stand when sitting cold or hot beverages on it. This has to be a defect because why in the world would you manufacture a night stand that cannot withstand temperatures other than room temp?! I'm contacting target about this. Magnolia do better!! Do not get this nightstand.

These were the perfect looking nightstands we were looking for... it's been 7 months and the inside drawers still smell absolutely awful!! Everything inside smells bad now too.. you open them for 2 seconds and can smell it. Most studio McGee products have prop65 warning on them for formaldehyde gas (which causes cancer) and I bet these have it too. We set out in the garage days before setting up, we laid in the sun for a couple days, they still smell just as strong. Not even sure we can return them but we need something else, it's probably not healthy having next to the bed.
