Arrived packaged carefully and in good shape. Scent is nice and strong.

The cedar and balsam scent smells like a freshly cleaned campground bathroom.

This throw on this is incredible and so is the scent. It makes your house smell so clean. I absolutely love this candle!! I rarely repeat purchase candles and I like to try new one but this is one I am actually purchasing again!

I like the smell and I have it in a bedroom and it is strong enough to fill my room. My husband commented and said what is the smell so it does smell strong for one room. Love all natural candles would improve the wicks but once it burns down enough it's fine

Besides smelling nothing like cedar or balsam, the flame is virtually nonexistent. I'm not sure if that's the new norm with these candles. I had one last year that was great.

I love all the Everspring candles!! Their scents are so nice and warm and just envelop the room their in.

Scent is very, very faint. I should have looked at the reviews before purchasing and burning. On another note…I love the cedar and balsam scented oil refills that fit into the Glade wall plugs.

I love the subtlety of this woodsy yet calming scent. It’s all natural, which is a bonus. However, if you are looking for a strong candle scent, this isn’t for you.

This candle smells nice....wish to scent was a bit more intense, think it will stay in the atmosphere longer. Decent quality for the price.

Very sad. All I want for Christmas is to find a candle that smells like trees & fills up the room. New to Target candles, tried a selection of 4 types. This was the worst; on sale but still wish I'd put the $ into a different one. The only scent to the candle is the cold wax when jar is opened. Agree with reviewers who said it smells like citronella, other strange scents, nothing like Fir or Cedar or woods...To me it smelled like highly perfumed soap with an unpleasant (to me) scent. Once lit, there was no smell at all & no throw. Wax also burned unevenly; unusual in a 2-wick. Don't know if this is the quality of the wax being used; storing at indoor room temperature here, perhaps warehouse/delivery storage is very cold for a lot of these candles & has affected the wax?

candle smells like citronella, besides the smell there is also a label on top of the lid that won’t peel off without leaving residue. unhappy

I was expecting more of a woody/pine mix.. not Vlassic dill pickles

while the name of this candle would be misleading since it doesn't smell like the title. The candle smells almost identical to the Aveda Shampure candle they sell for upwards of $50. For the price here, it's a great dupe.

I was expecting this candle to smell like Cedar and pine. Very unfortunately it smells like someone just mixed a little bit of every essential oil together. Ingredients aren't listed in the product page but it includes essential oils of not just cedarwood and balsam fir, but also patchouli, geranium and citrus, among others. It's lightly scented but when you do catch whiffs of it, it's reminiscent of port-o-potty deodorizer.

Great smelling clean option

I have to agree with the other reviewer that this candle doesn't smell much like either cedar or balsam to me, but I think it smells wonderful! It has a powdery quality like violet or sandalwood does, and a mossy, amber-y, woodsy base. I'm a candle snob and I like this one as much as way more expensive woody candles from Keap, Voluspa, etc.

Smells absolutely nothing like cedar &/or balsam. The only way I can think to describe what it smells like is an older woman wearing awful perfume and natural bug spray at the same time, making the most awful mix together.
