After purchasing a protection plan in the store with my iphone purchase, thinking, better safe than sorry, $10/month seems reasonable, cancel at any time, you forget about it, likely, don't need to file a claim, and three years later, you try to figure out why Allstate is charging you $10 everymonth, and the ONLY record you have is from your original targetmobile purchase, luclikly I keep emails, and was able to hunt down the plan number. But had I not requested cancellation, I would've continued to be billed for up to 5 years from purchase, which is way beyond the timeframe most people keep a phone. Just get phone insurance through apple or your phone service. At least they will send you a receipt for your charges every month.
