The water beads up which allows it to keep dry underneath the mat but also retains water so if you step on it later with socks you’ll get all that water transferred to your socks. And dislike the texture which feels slippery, not sure how else to explain it but if you purchase in store you’ll know how it feels.

I have three in my master bath and they collect water, (they definitely do not absorb it!) You cant walk on one with out getting your socks soaked! The worst thing is they have curled up corners -I thought it would eventually lay flat, but they nefver did. I washed them once- still curl up ) every singel corner! I'm lookign to reolace them even tho they look great! They are a tripping hazard !
