The plates are sturdy enough. Definitely not like superior brand name plates but the job gets done. I wouldn’t put heavy food on the plate and hold it or carry it. I bought them for this summer as it makes meals a lot easier for cleanup. These would be perfect to use at a baby shower or other shower. They aren’t a full dinner plate size but they are bigger than a cake plate. Fits my kids food perfectly and nice and sturdy , so they don’t flip their food when carrying them. The paper is thick and dirty and coated with a water resistance layer that looks like it will hold up really well to even more wet foods. We love the packaging of this product as it uses minimal plastic, but keeps everything intact neat and clean. This brand of paper plates has become our favorite.
