The old saying "you get what you pay for" applies here. I bought two of these for my children, and they each started to fall apart within a week or two. On one of them I had to sew the zipper section on because it was starting to tear. Mind you we homeschool and only use them twice a week for our homeschool co-op. Put the $5 this costs towards a more durable backpack.

The zipper pulls began fraying after first use. Zipper seam became completely separated after less than 3 weeks of very light use. But for $5, what else would you expect?

You've got to believe me, yarn gets no respect. I purchase huge skeins for blanket and doll projects, but it becomes a war trying to keep it clean. I found these backpacks perfect for the 16-ounce skeins. Plus, I can toss them into a pile when I'm done. They hang up on coat racks and look very pretty on my craft room wall. Also, I can stuff my finished blankets inside a backpack when a customer comes to pick it up. The price doesn't break my bottom line when I give them away.

I would not recommend this backpack. Purchase today (8/19) It felt flimsy upon opening and closing the zipper while still IN the store. I figured it’s only $5 so as a last resort I’ll use it (not much available to choose from) but luckily I was able to find the backpack I was looking for somewhere else. I’m pretty sure I’m going to be returning this. Unless I forget to return it at which point I’ll keep it in the car to hold car stuff but we’ll see. Be warned it is not made to last! Spend that extra $15-$20 and save yourself a headache.
