I wish i had paid more attention to the reviews. It shedded in the first wash itself, and left clumps of material all over my washer and dryer which then got stuck onto the other rugs I had thrown in with it. It is pleasing to the eye, but not a feasible purchase if you have a high traffic bathroom.

beautiful rug, great colors, very soft. problem is you can't use and rug cleaners on it, it eats the fabric. spot cleaning doesn't work. washing machine will get it clean, but most of the fluff will come off in the washer and dryer. very poorly made.

Don't buy-- poor fabric quality
As soon as I took this rug out of the packaging it began shedding like crazy which got all over our feet and house. I tried to vacuum/brush the rug but the fibers continued to break off every time it was touched. We ended up returning the rug before we ever used it.

Not machine washable!!
Rug was soft & cute at first, but sheds like CRAZY. When I tried to wash it, it became so heavy in the (front load) washer, that the washer couldn't spin. So it didn't rinse properly. And when I took it out, it was dripping wet and weighed about 20 lbs! So the dryer could hardly handle it either. (I did try to "wring it out" by hand, before putting it in the dryer, which was extremely difficlut & didn't work.) It crashed around in the dryer (because it was so wet and heavy) for about 10 minutes and I finally took it out and dried it outside for a day or so, on my patio. Bad quality! NOT machine washable! NOT recommended!

Major shedding during first wash
Cute and absorbent, but it shed SO MUCH during the first wash. Photo shows the softball -sized clump of fibers I scraped off the inside of the washer. Weirdly, it seems to shed a normal amount in the dryer. Still looks good, though? I won’t launder it with anything else, I guess.
