27" Tiggie Alabaster Table Lamp with Linen Shade & Acrylic Base (Includes LED Light Bulb) - JONATHAN Y

It's a very nice lamp but the brown mark down the front of the white alabaster mars the whole appearance of the lamp. I am returning the lamp to Target if I can figure out how to do that now that covid19 has limited my ability to return it to our local store. I was so disappointed when I saw the brown dirty looking mark on the front. The worst part is that the back of the lamp that has the cord coming out of it was perfectly white. Unfortunately there was no way to hide the cord so I couldn't put the good side in front. A little quality control probably would have made sure that the best side of the alabaster would be in the front and the marked side could go in the back. It would have been a nice lamp if it weren't for the brown mark on the alabaster on the front of the lamp. The dirty looking brown line marred the whole appearance of the lamp. The other 3 sides were actually pretty good so it was unfortunate that the only bad spot had to be on the front. I was so excited to finally receive it and so disappointed when I took it out of the box and saw the mark. I will be returning the lamp to Target once I figure out how to return it now that my local store is not taking returns due to covid19. I wouldn't recommend buying because you can't know till you get it what the alabaster will look like.

I am super-pleased with the look and quality of this genuine alabaster lamp. It is nice and heavy and the shade is sturdy with a linen look. The shade is white. It looks modern and clean. The cord is a silver-gray color and I would have preferred it to be clear, but it's out of sight where I've placed it. It gives a really beautiful glow under the soft shade and alabaster, really makes the room light softly. The switch is at the top of the lamp base, concealed by the shade. I think this lamp is an excellent price for the high quality.

I originally purchased two lamps from one of those stores located in relatively upscale malls. $400 each, though I did get them for less on sale. Ordered on-line for store pick up and when I got them home I took one out of the box and it was complete junk. I could have picked it up with a toothpick. Boxed it up and took it back. I thought this lamp looked good online but Target didn't carry them in the store so it was a leap of faith to purchase online. Received it today and was very impressed. Well made and well packaged. The quality is far better than the lamp that was 4 times as expensive. Good job JONATHAN Y! Sometimes more expensive doesn't mean higher quality!
