A: Yes, it is exactly 5" high. The 5.25" high basket will be just slightly too big. But I am sure you will be able to find ones that will fit.

For the money it gets the job done. However the quality of some of the pieces was obviously not good. the cubby dividers are literally all pealing and the was a chunk out of another piece. Directions were just okay too, had to figure a few things out on our own. easy enough to put together with two people.

Scraper corners looks used. Had to label each pieces letter and number to make it easier to put together. The shoe slats don’t flush into the piece leaving a gap and uneven space in back

Please read the reviews and know that the the cubbies will not accommodate boots or booties. It was very easy to assemble on my own and the directions were straightforward. Purchased this for our laundry room and it fit perfectly! It replaced our previous shoe rack and added more storage. The hooks are bench are very sturdy. One thing worth noting is some adult shoes (men’s tennis shoes) might take up two shoe cubbies due to size. Still plenty of space however for shoe storage. Would recommend!
