Bowls were poorly packaged. The minute they were delivered I heard broken glass in the box. After opening the box I confirmed what I heard. Who hires these people to package these items? Nothing noted on the box to state fragile! There were two bowls that could not be separated. Two were completely smashed. I will be returning these ASAP and not shopping at Target again. There is something to be said for you get what you pay for! Pack your stoneware with bubble wrap and label your boxes as fragile! Two very common sense tips! Also pack the box with paper in between so things don't get jostled around! Another common sense tip.

Loved these bowls at first, deep & large was helpful for big salads, cereal, ice cream, fruits, etc. THEN they started cracking like crazy in the microwave. Thought it was just a weird chance. Nope happened 3 times this week, and a plate we bought with this set just cracked too (which is why I sprinted to Target.com to leave review). Be careful heating things in Target stoneware. We had the bowls for about 5 years, but still they should last longer IMO.

I got this to have a single bowl at my office for lunch. It’s fine, but the black color isn’t quite black. A tinge of color makes it odd looking so I don’t recommend it if you want something stylish for home use.
