The stools look very and feel solid. The only problem i have with them is the cheap wood screws that are provided, very hard to tighten them with out stripping the heads. Very easy to install.

For the price these were great. Well packaged, easy to assemble, nice rich wood color but they ended up mesuring well over 30" from seat to floor so back they'll go.

I am very pleased with the material and sturdiness of these chairs. I had been shopping for new stools for my breakfast bar for months and believe this is the best deal I could find. The only criticism I have is that the directions are challenging to read which caused the first chair assembly to take an hour. The next four were much quicker. Also, in sunlight the color of the wood appears red, much more than expected with an espresso finish.
