  • A: Not if you use a piece of it and roll that on top of the putty on the wall until all comes off. It will all come off.

  • A: On wallboard, if it's been there for a while, it will take off a layer of wallboard along with the paint if u pull it. Thin putty knife between object and wall will separate it easily.

Do not pull the putty off painted wall surfaces. Should any putty particles remain, simply roll more FUN-TAK over the area until clean.

  • A: If you pull the object on the wall off, you may take both the putty and the wallboard. Better to run a putty knife between putty and wall. Came off that way for me after I learned my lesson.

    This was a complete waste of money decorated my co workers office with balloons and streamers since no holes are allowed came in the next morning disaster all on the floor string it couldn't hold sting from 6pm-7:30am seriously. Had to go back to hold faithful tape NEVER again this nothing but u chewed bubble gum. 0 stars but they dont give you that option.

    This is a great replacement for tape or tacks, ( especially during Christmas decorating) only problem is that it leaves a little residue on the surface which does come off with some effort!

    Great adhesive product

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A package of Loctite Mounting Putty was sent via Influenster to use and review. This was the perfect product for my son’s wall calendar, as he tired of seeing it fall to the floor repeatedly using push pins. This putty is very safe, with no irritating scent, heavy pigment,solvents or toxic ingredients. And so easy to use-after placing rolled up tabs at each corner-his calendar now remains on the wall permanently. Problem solved! This putty works on many surfaces(nine) and is easily removable. It replaces the need for tape, staples, tacks, small nails. And best of all, the price is very reasonable. I definitely recommend this product!

    Versatile!

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this product. My husband outsmarted me and added this to the bottom two corners of the backside of a canvas we hung in a doorway path. It prevents the canvas from getting accidentally knocked and becoming askew. Brilliant way to use this product! Can’t wait to use it for birthday parties so short term decor hanging.

My kid has been begging to put posters on his wall but the answer was always NO due to not wanting holes in the walls. With this is can hang all the things. It’s reusable and comes off the way very easily. Posters look fantastic! No mess. No holes. No problem. We also used to hang glow in the dark stars from my daughter’s ceiling. Perfect!

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These tabs are really convenient. They claim to each be able to hold 1 lb. per tab but that wasn't my experience. I tested it out hanging a few art pieces and ended up using double that recommendation. So far it's held great directly on drywall and anticipate it will continue to do so. If this can be used as a semi-permanent solution, it's a game changer and well worth the price. It's so convenient and easy to use

    Crazy strong
