I got these a couple weeks ago and absolutely love them. They have a really wide zipper making easy to put pillow insert in. I got the black and white buffalo check and they match everything. I love throw pillow covers because they help you easily change your home decor without going out to buy new pillows. You can use them to cover old pillows you don't like anymore or look old, or just to change your decor depending on the season. This plaid pattern is supposed to be for Christmas, but I think it works year long and you can easily mix and match patterns and colors, depending on what you have at hand. Since it is black and white, I think it could be easily customized to work for different seasons. You can add a red felt reindeer on it or a big red heart for Valentine's Day, an orange leaf for fall, or add colorful tassels for summer. Although I haven't had to wash them yet, they seem to be very high quality and well-made. The fabric is 100% cotton, it feels very thick, but not rough to touch. The hidden zipper works smoothly. Keep in mind that this is not a standard throw pillow size. It is 20X20, so you either need an adequate pillow or you can add extra pillow stuffing inside like I did.
