Not bad; better than no warranty
My TV developed a dark spot after having it for a year and a half. Filing a claim online and talking to someone from SquareTrade on the phone was very fast and easy. They’re sending me a box so I can ship my TV to them which is nice, but now we’re going to be without a TV for at least a week. First world problems, I know, but still a little frustrating.

Will not purchase again.
Purchased this plan but it doesn't cover any damage or accidents. Just be aware before you buy! This will not cover anything but manufacturers defects!

Maybe I should cancel plan???
I have square trade plans on other electronics. Haven't been used tho. Thought it would b useful on my new tv? BUT since I've read the reviews on Target site I'm thinking maybe canceling??????!

Waste
Horrible service do not purchase. Paid for the 3 years and canceled in less then a month. When trying to cancel took about 30 mins.

Easy to replace TV, just takes time.
Near the end of my plan ( I had about a month left ) I noticed my TV had some shadows starting to burn into the TV. It wasn't bothering me too much but I did have the Square Trade warranty so I gave them a call. They had me reboot, power drain the TV, picture test, etc. When the problem didn't go away, they had me send some pictures of the burn-in. My replacement was approved, and I selected my new TV, which was a nice upgrade from my initial purchase. It took about a week for the replacement to arrive, unforutnately damaged in shipment. Called up Square Trade again, and sent in more photos. Had to send back that TV, and wait again. After 2 and a half weeks, I have a working TV. The process could've been faster but the service was great and I got a new TV out of it.

3 year TV protection plan
I can’t believe how difficult it is to use the protection plan to have the TV fixed even after mentioning to me the motherboard is going out on my 2 year old TV. Never again will I purchase any electronics or protection plans from Target. Very disappointed with you Target on how you handle claims.
