Q: Does the 3 year warranty start after the manufacturers 1 year warranty expires? Thats important to know!
A: Hello Den, Thank you for contacting SquareTrade. SquareTrade protection plans start from day one. SquareTrade sells extended protection to cover above and beyond what your manufacturer covers. Since SquareTrade is an extended warranty, any existing warranty from a seller or manufacturer does take precedent over the SquareTrade warranty. For normal mechanical and electronic failures, our coverage begins after the manufacturer’s warranty expires. Most items are covered up to one year by the manufacturer. Q: I want to cancel my protection plan. Squaretrade says I have to bring the receipt back to the store where I purchased the plan. Target says it's not eligible for in-store return.
